Its aim is to accelerate the market introduction of these technologies, realising their potential as an instrument in achieving a carbon-lean energy system.

European innovation partnership (EIP) on raw materials - Website
The European Innovation Partnership on Raw Materials is a stakeholder platform that brings together representatives from industry, public services, academia and NGOs. Its mission is to provide high-level guidance to the European Commission, Members States and private actors on innovative approaches to the challenges related to raw materials.


Raw materials scoreboard - Website
The raw materials scoreboard is an initiative of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Raw Materials. Its purpose is to provide quantitative data on the EIP’s general objectives and on the raw materials policy context. It presents relevant and reliable information that can be used in policymaking in a variety of areas. The scoreboard will, for example, contribute to monitoring progress towards a circular economy, a crucial issue on which the European Commission recently adopted an ambitious action plan. The scoreboard will be published every two years.


The Critical Raw Materials Alliance (CRM Alliance) - Website
The Critical Raw Materials Alliance (CRM Alliance) has been created by industry to advocate the importance of CRMs for the European economy and to promote a strong European CRM policy. It is the representative body of primary producers, traders and associations of CRMs. Through its membership, the CRM Alliance represents almost all of the 20 listed critical raw materials and we are steadily growing. We also oversee an MEP Interest Group on Critical Raw Materials to connect industry with policy-makers through bi-annual political luncheon events.


Raw Material KIC - Website
EIT Raw Materials was designated as an EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) by the EIT Governing Board on 09 December 2014.
EIT Raw Materials has the ambitious vision of turning the challenge of raw materials dependence into a strategic strength for Europe. Its mission is to boost the competitiveness, growth and attractiveness of the European raw materials sector via radical innovation and entrepreneurship. This KIC will integrate multiple disciplines, diversity and complementarity along the three sides of the knowledge triangle (business, education and research) and across the whole raw materials value chain.
